On November 10th and 11th, 2016, a peer-to-peer workshop on key technologies took place in Jena on the Beutenberg Campus. In this workshop's scope, Thuringia was emphasised as an important location for technology and innovation, and the role of the European Structural Funds, other European funding instruments and European cooperations in the field of key technologies was discussed. The event, which was organised by the representative of the Free State of Thuringia in the European Union, was attended by Members of the European Parliament, Spokespersons of the European Commission, members of the Committee of the Regions, and representatives of European cooperations.
