The programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), approved by the European Commission, provides funding of approximately €1.09 billion for the period from 2021 to 2027. The available funds are to be allocated across six priorities: strengthening research, technological development and innovation; enhancing the growth and competitiveness of SMEs; reducing CO₂ emissions; adapting to climate change, risk prevention and disaster resilience; investing in sustainable, innovative and future-oriented local transport; and promoting sustainable and integrated urban development.
